Codrin Iovulescu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, Teodor Alexandru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilie CSu and the ASESOFT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Ilie CSu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Alexandru to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Irinel Şneapotă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marian Senin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Dănănae's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Codrin Iovulescu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Irinel Şneapotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Gheorghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irinel Şneapotă in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ASESOFT's zone, Eugen Filipașcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Senin came out of the goal and Eugen Filipașcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ASESOFT's Irinel Şneapotă got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandru Eftimiu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. ASESOFT's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Irinel Şneapotă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Aurelian Gheorghe made a huge save. Alexandru Eftimiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Gheorghe having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Eftimiu in the 54th minute of play forced Ilie CSu's goalkeeper Aurelian Gheorghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Ilie CSu got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Panait. After 58 played minutes Ilie CSu got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Alexandru. Irinel Şneapotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Şneapotă struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aurelian Gheorghe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASESOFT. In the 70th minute of the match Iulian Cantemir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelian Gheorghe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexandru Eftimiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aurelian Gheorghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, ASESOFT's Irinel Şneapotă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Gheorghe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marius Dănănae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Senin having to interfere. Aurelian Gheorghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Buzescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gică Buzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilie CSu's Aurelian Gheorghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Eftimiu in the 89th minute of play. Aurelian Gheorghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Şneapotă in the 91st minute of play. Marian Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Filipașcu in the 95th minute of the match. Ilie CSu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though ASESOFT had controlled the match.
