The supporters of Petelei AFC booed when FC Aquatic Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Craia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Petelei AFC's Viorel Stănoiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bogdan Dobrescu. Bogdan Dobrescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Valentin Bărnuțiu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Vasiliu got free with Bogdan Dobrescu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, FC Aquatic Bucuresti's goalkeeper Bogdan Dobrescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Vasiliu. Petelei AFC's David Timofte shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bogdan Dobrescu but with some difficulty. Eric Culiță might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valer Răduț. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Culiță ran back to his position shaking his head. Eric Culiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Tomescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Bogdan Dobrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Stănoiu in the 36th minute of the match. Florin Craia hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Codrin Hănescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Dobrescu skillfully saved the ball. Viorel Stănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Dobrescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Stănoiu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Bogdan Dobrescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Stănoiu in the 62nd minute of play. Nicolae Vasiliu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Petelei AFC's Valer Răduț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Petelei AFC from getting a goal against them. When Eric Culiță came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Aquatic Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Culiță couldn't finish the play. With his leg Valer Răduț managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when FC Aquatic Bucuresti's Eric Culiță fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Viorel Stănoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolae Vasiliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bogdan Dobrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Viorel Stănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Dobrescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Dobrescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Stănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Viorel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Stănoiu in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Dobrescu saved FC Aquatic Bucuresti from getting behind. If Nicolae Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
