The goalkeeper, Aristide Robu, was totally fooled by Petelei AFC's Rareș Taşcu, who 4 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 9 minutes into the match, St3aua Ph's goalkeeper Aristide Robu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Vasiliu. In the 10th minute, Petelei AFC's Viorel Stănoiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aristide Robu. Aristide Robu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in St3aua Ph's zone, Viorel Stănoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Robu came out of the goal and Viorel Stănoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolae Vasiliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aristide Robu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Viorel Stănoiu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aristide Robu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Stănoiu in the 21st minute of play forced St3aua Ph's goalkeeper Aristide Robu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Vasiliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. St3aua Ph's Aristide Robu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Bărnuțiu in the 29th minute of play. Viorel Stănoiu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Viorel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petelei AFC's Viorel Stănoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Damian Răduțu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lucian Mitu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionuț Baicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Răduț having to interfere. Petelei AFC's Valer Răduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Mitu in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Stănoiu to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Valentin Bărnuțiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petelei AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St3aua Ph the free kick. Lucian Mitu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valer Răduț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petelei AFC's Valer Răduț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Petelei AFC from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, St3aua Ph's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Vasiliu came free, but Aristide Robu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicolae Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Stănoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Robu having to interfere. Aristide Robu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Stănoiu's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Viorel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolae Vasiliu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Robu. Aristide Robu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 86 minutes into the match, St3aua Ph's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Stănoiu came free, but Aristide Robu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Bărnuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. St3aua Ph's Lucian Mitu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petelei AFC's Valer Răduț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Mitu in the 95th minute of play. Petelei AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
