In the 29th minute, Martin Caloian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Văidianu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moise Văidianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moise Văidianu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Aursulesei in the 41st minute of play forced Penfolds®'s goalkeeper Petruț Coraș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodor Aursulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Coraș having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Penfolds®'s zone, Teodor Aursulesei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Coraș came out of the goal and Teodor Aursulesei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Caloian in the 90th minute of play forced Penfolds®'s goalkeeper Petruț Coraș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Penfolds® would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
