Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Narcis Bărbulescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Augustin Turcan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Robert Zmeu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mugur Neaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hurduci's Narcis Bărbulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Tg-Mureș getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mugur Neaga hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hurduci's Robert Zmeu got control of the ball when Augustin Turcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narcis Bărbulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ovidiu Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Mugur Neaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Călin Puric came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Hurduci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Puric couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Călin Puric made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. FC Tg-Mureș's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the FC Tg-Mureș defense, Narcis Bărbulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. The FC Tg-Mureș fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Oblemenco should have stopped the shot. Ovidiu Oblemenco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Bărbulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the FC Tg-Mureș defense, Călin Puric kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco. The FC Tg-Mureș fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Oblemenco should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Tg-Mureș's zone, Călin Puric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Oblemenco came out of the goal and Călin Puric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidiu Oblemenco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Bărbulescu in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Călin Puric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Oblemenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Puric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Tg-Mureș players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hurduci were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Paulică was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Paulică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Zmeu having to interfere. If Narcis Bărbulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Narcis Bărbulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Oblemenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Tg-Mureș's Maxim Filip got a free kick in the 65th minute. Robert Zmeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Turcan in the 68th minute of play. Ivan Paulică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Narcis Bărbulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Oblemenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Călin Puric notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Tg-Mureș's Ovidiu Oblemenco. Ovidiu Oblemenco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hurduci played a much better game than FC Tg-Mureș and deserved their victory. The FC Tg-Mureș players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
