If Alex Stafie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Alex Stafie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zont fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alex Stafie struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Marcel Beraru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zont. Virgil Fărcașu's late challenge caught a Zont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Fărcașu helped the player get up and apologised. Virgil Fărcașu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes in the game, Alex Stafie dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Alex Stafie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Beraru was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Doru Boeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Rareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Tăcutu having to interfere. Costică Ţipirig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcel Beraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Tăcutu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Iordache Lazăr sent off a good shot on target. Costică Ţipirig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alex Stafie came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Zont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Stafie couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zont's zone, Iordache Lazăr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Tăcutu came out of the goal and Iordache Lazăr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Stafie made a kick off. Călin Rareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Tăcutu having to interfere. Iordache Lazăr hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC NIGHT BIRD getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dinu Onciu hit a great ball. Călin Rareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Tăcutu having to interfere. Emil Tăcutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Rareș's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Costică Ţipirig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marcel Beraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Costică Ţipirig came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Zont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Ţipirig couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, FC NIGHT BIRD's goalkeeper Marcel Beraru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costică Ţipirig. Costică Ţipirig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marcel Beraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zont's Emil Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Lazăr in the 93rd minute of play. Marcel Beraru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Ţipirig in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Zont left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC NIGHT BIRD.
