Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Hrebenciuc ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Adrian Lițiu made a precise shot to the right of Emil Tăcutu. Zont's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Lucrețiu Marian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Burlug's Constantin Hrebenciuc got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 26th minute Constantin Hrebenciuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Tăcutu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Burlug's Adrian Lițiu. But to his dismay, Adrian Lițiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute Constantin Hrebenciuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zont's goalkeeper Emil Tăcutu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Zont getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Adrian Costin hit a great ball. Adrian Lițiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Tăcutu having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Viorel Cernescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Zont players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burlug were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantin Hrebenciuc made a kick off. Gabriel Măguran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Stafie, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Iurie Corvin could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Emil Tăcutu however easily saved by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Burlug's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Stafie came free, but Gabriel Măguran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Măguran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Ţipirig in the 58th minute of play. Burlug's Adrian Lițiu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costică Ţipirig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zont's Emil Tăcutu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Zont from getting a goal against them. Zont's Viorel Cernescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Viorel Cernescu off the ground. After 72 played minutes Zont got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Cernescu. Adrian Lițiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Lițiu in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emil Tăcutu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Constantin Hrebenciuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emil Tăcutu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Costică Ţipirig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zont and the Burlug players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Burlug booed when Zont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Ţipirig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Adrian Lițiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burlug's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Lițiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Emil Tăcutu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute Constantin Hrebenciuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Tăcutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Adrian Lițiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burlug's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Lițiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Tăcutu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burlug played a much better game than Zont and deserved their victory. The Zont players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
