Antocenii UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tg-Mureș the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Antocenii UFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Tg-Mureș:s goal. Maxim Filip charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxim Filip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, FC Tg-Mureș was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Filip to maneuver through the defense. Leonard Bârlea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Oblemenco having to interfere. But to his dismay, Dacian Nasta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ivan Paulică made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gigel Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Oblemenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Tg-Mureș's Ivan Paulică fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. The supporters of FC Tg-Mureș booed when Antocenii UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Voinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Leonard Bârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antocenii UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Bârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonard Bârlea scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidiu Oblemenco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Antocenii UFC's Laurențiu Alexiu got a free kick in the 88th minute. Antocenii UFC's Leonard Bârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Turcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Iosif Şendrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Tg-Mureș players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Antocenii UFC.
