Radu Istrate didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ulea's Mircea Costache shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Constantin Avacariței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Ispirescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mircea Costache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Istrate having to interfere. In the 39th minute, David Ispirescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantin Avacariței might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mircea Apostolescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Avacariței ran back to his position shaking his head. The gcg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ulea were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Ispirescu to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Ulea's goal looked a bit too open when David Ispirescu came free, but Mircea Apostolescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulea's Cristi Budianu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristi Budianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristi Budianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ulea booed when gcg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Pescaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Enescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, David Ispirescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. gcg's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ispirescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Apostolescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 78 minutes, Constantin Avacariței managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. gcg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Avacariței was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristi Budianu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Ulea's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 86th minute, Cătălin Guriță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ulea defense, Martin Pârvulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Apostolescu. The Ulea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Apostolescu should have stopped the shot. Radu Istrate came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ulea's Mircea Costache. But to his dismay, Mircea Costache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Constantin Avacariței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Constantin Avacariței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ulea had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
