Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's Adrian Todericiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila from getting a goal against them. When Iustinian Şerbănoiu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Şerbănoiu couldn't finish the play. Manuel Brăiloiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Macrea having to interfere. After 15 played minutes L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Şerbănoiu. FC POLI's Mihai Ţiţeica shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adrian Todericiu but with some difficulty. Adrian Todericiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Vâlcu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Adam Bâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's Manuel Brăiloiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosmin Macrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Adam Bâru fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. FC POLI's Cosmin Macrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Brăiloiu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Leonard Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Bugariu to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Nicolae Vâlcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Todericiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Liviu Bugariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Aldescu charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nechifor Aldescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Nechifor Aldescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Macrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Brăiloiu in the 63rd minute. Adam Bâru struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Adrian Todericiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC POLI. In the 77th match minute, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Şerbănoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Nicolae Vâlcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolae Vâlcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Todericiu having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC POLI fans cheered their team off the field, for while L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
