Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Codruț Lobonț got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Edgar Basarabescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marian Lupoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, FC Real Brasov's Edgar Basarabescu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Mirciulescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Simbrias booed when FC Real Brasov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Uncescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Tunaru got free with Gabriel Mirciulescu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Edgar Basarabescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Lupoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edgar Basarabescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Real Brasov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Domuță to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes FC Real Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Uncescu. In the 58th minute, Victor Doloman made a precise shot to the right of Marian Lupoi. Simbrias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 62 played minutes FC Real Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Mitulescu. Niculae Domuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gabriel Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Niculae Domuță, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gabriel Mirciulescu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Iordache Tadici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Real Brasov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Viorel Tunaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Mirciulescu having to interfere. Gabriel Mirciulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niculae Domuță's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Iordache Tadici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Lupoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Mitulescu in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Simbrias's goalkeeper Marian Lupoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Basarabescu. Although Simbrias had been in control for most of the match, FC Real Brasov still came away with the win.
