Eusebiu Corlățean was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. It was Lucian Cristian who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Nistor Dumitrache to score against Ernest Petrică in Striharet's goal. 2-1 after 57 minutes. If Francisc Micescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Mirciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 88 minutes into the game, Codruț Lobonț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Real Brasov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Striharet the free kick. Martin Nisipeanu in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Mirciulescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisc Micescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Striharet's Felix Popic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Mirciulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisc Micescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Striharet could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Real Brasov throughout the match.
