Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Liviu Bugariu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Striharet's zone, Manuel Brăiloiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Petrică came out of the goal and Manuel Brăiloiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Manuel Brăiloiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Brăiloiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisc Micescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Adrian Todericiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 17 minutes into the game, Striharet's Felix Popic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Todericiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Felix Popic's late challenge caught a L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Popic helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Striharet's Felix Popic got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Francisc Micescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Adrian Todericiu made a huge save. Francisc Micescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adrian Todericiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Nisipeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Todericiu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Francisc Micescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Striharet's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Micescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Todericiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42ndth minute of the game Martin Nisipeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's Adrian Todericiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Nisipeanu came free, but Adrian Todericiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Liviu Bugariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Petrică having to interfere. If Francisc Micescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Micescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Striharet booed when L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Şerbănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Francisc Micescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Striharet's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Micescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Todericiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Todericiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Nisipeanu in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Striharet getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Iulian Istrătescu hit a great ball. After 78 minutes of play, Striharet's Martin Nisipeanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Todericiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Nisipeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Iustinian Şerbănoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Striharet the free kick. In the 86th minute, Iustinian Şerbănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's Adrian Todericiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Micescu in the 89th minute of play. Adrian Todericiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Nisipeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Petrică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Bugariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Striharet players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
