The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolae Vâlcu was the one to do the kick off. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to FC Real Brasov getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Victor Doloman hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Adam Bâru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC POLI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Real Brasov the free kick. After 72 played minutes FC POLI got a freekick which was hit by Adam Bâru. The attack was good, but when Codruț Lobonț in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Edgar Basarabescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cosmin Macrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Basarabescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Edgar Basarabescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Real Brasov's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
