The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Elian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Manuel Brăiloiu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Teodor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mugur Albuț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Todericiu having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Manuel Brăiloiu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Teodor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Eugen Novăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Otomani's goalkeeper Adam Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Brăiloiu. After 33 played minutes Otomani got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Elian. After a rather tough play, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's Iustinian Şerbănoiu got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Otomani's Olimpiu Elian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olimpiu Elian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Otomani protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olimpiu Elian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Otomani:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila:s goal. 45 minutes into the match, L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Novăceanu came free, but Adrian Todericiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugen Novăceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Todericiu having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugur Albuț to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Damian Braru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otomani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Damian Braru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Nechifor Aldescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Teodor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adam Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Brăiloiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Adam Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Bugariu in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Otomani defense, Manuel Brăiloiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Teodor. The Otomani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Teodor should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the match, Otomani's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Brăiloiu came free, but Adam Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Todericiu made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mugur Albuț sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugur Albuț in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Todericiu saved L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila from getting behind. Otomani were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matei Săvescu took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Bugariu in the 78th minute of play forced Otomani's goalkeeper Adam Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Bugariu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugen Novăceanu 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. When Eugen Novăceanu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Otomani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Novăceanu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugur Albuț in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Todericiu saved L.T Nicolae Iorga Braila from getting behind. Adrian Todericiu came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Otomani's Mugur Albuț. But to his dismay, Mugur Albuț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 93rd minute, Eugen Novăceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrian Todericiu. The goal made the score 2-4.
