Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Moise Bălace took the kick off in the first half of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ordoreanul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Moise Bălace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valer Crivoi was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Leontin Flamaropol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Bălace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Moise Bălace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mugurel Gherguț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varati FC's Marin Minulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Varati FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Varati FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
