With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Luican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Laurențiu Nicolau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Rasa's Valentin Luican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Bădescu in the 21st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Rasa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ficații:s goal. When Fabian Floroiu came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Rasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Floroiu couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ficații booed when Rasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 100 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Racoviceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dragoş Bădescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Luican was relentless in the 103rd minute of the game. Ficații's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
