Ficații's George Amărculesei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ficații from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Leontin Flamaropol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugurel Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Leontin Flamaropol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Amărculesei. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Victor Enoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ordoreanul's goalkeeper Valer Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ordoreanul's Mugurel Gherguț slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Amărculesei. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 32nd minute, one of Ficații:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ficații. In the 36th minute, Florin Olăroiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ficații fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ficații's George Amărculesei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Gherguț in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugurel Gherguț to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Victor Enoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Alin Ulici sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Valer Crivoi threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alin Ulici this time. 54 minutes into the match, Ordoreanul's Mugurel Gherguț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Amărculesei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Dragoş Bădescu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ficații fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Bădescu couldn't finish the play. Valer Crivoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Bădescu in the 57th minute of the match. Dragoş Bădescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valer Crivoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Gherguț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Amărculesei having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ficații's zone, Leontin Flamaropol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Amărculesei came out of the goal and Leontin Flamaropol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ficații's goalkeeper George Amărculesei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leontin Flamaropol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leontin Flamaropol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute of the match Radu Doloman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Amărculesei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Leontin Flamaropol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ordoreanul's supporters rose to their feet, but Leontin Flamaropol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Amărculesei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugurel Gherguț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. George Amărculesei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Nicea hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Mugurel Gherguț came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ordoreanul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugurel Gherguț couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Gherguț took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Amărculesei. George Amărculesei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ordoreanul had played much better football throughout.
