Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) 2 minutes into the game, Alin Ulici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ficații's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smizi the free kick. Leonard Gligor struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. George Amărculesei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smizi. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Doru Ispir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smizi's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Ispir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Amărculesei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petruț Nicea charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petruț Nicea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Smizi booed when Ficații was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Nicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Smizi's Sergiu Zmeu got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergiu Zmeu scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Amărculesei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. George Amărculesei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Zmeu went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Sergiu Zmeu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Gligor in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Amărculesei saved Ficații from getting behind. George Amărculesei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Zmeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Zmeu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Amărculesei having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergiu Zmeu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Amărculesei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergiu Zmeu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Amărculesei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Sergiu Zmeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergiu Zmeu made a kick off. With a little luck, Ficații's George Amărculesei got control of the ball when Leonard Gligor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ficații booed when Smizi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ghioncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ficații's Dragoş Bădescu in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smizi's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Ghioncu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dragoş Bădescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Remus Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Leonard Gligor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smizi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Gligor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Sergiu Zmeu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ficații's George Amărculesei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remus Şneapotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Olăroiu in the 68th minute of the match. Remus Şneapotă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Olăroiu went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ficații's George Amărculesei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ficații from getting a goal against them. If Leonard Gligor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sergiu Zmeu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Smizi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Zmeu couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the game, Leonard Gligor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Amărculesei. Leonard Gligor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to Smizi getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Emanuel Ghioncu hit a great ball. Leonard Gligor took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Amărculesei. George Amărculesei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Dragoş Bădescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Remus Şneapotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Smizi played a much better game than Ficații and deserved their victory. The Ficații players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
