Spectators: 7150 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ionel Fințescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Răzvan Simionică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornel Beșliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Obreja in the 8th minute of play forced Alexandra cr's goalkeeper Costel Răduța to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandra cr's Răzvan Simionică got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionel Fințescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alexandra cr's Ionel Fințescu in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionică Obreja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Simionică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Beșliu having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Ionel Fințescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cornel Beșliu, 1-1. Răzvan Simionică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cornel Beșliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Cristi Chindriș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alexandra cr's Mădălin Ţîrlea got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 77th minute, Ionel Fințescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornel Beșliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Fințescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Păsări Roșii booed when Alexandra cr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Ţîrlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Păsări Roșii were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Alexandra cr's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vali Gârleanu took the corner. After a rather tough play, Păsări Roșii's Ciprian Tarcea got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ionel Fințescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cornel Beșliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Alexandra cr failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
