Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristinel Rada kicked off to start the match. Liviu Ştefănică kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Mugurel Grădinaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Rada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristinel Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Poenaru having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Cristinel Rada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCORPIONII's Dorel Poenaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Nae Muscaș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dorel Poenaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristinel Rada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristinel Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Steaua Bucuresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Rada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristinel Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Poenaru having to interfere. Dorel Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Rada in the 46th minute of the match.

60 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Bucuresti's Cristinel Rada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorel Poenaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toader David during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes FC Steaua Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Toader David. SCORPIONII's Dorel Poenaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Rada in the 64th minute of play. Dorel Poenaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Rada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Surdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Cerghizan in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to SCORPIONII getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Liviu Ştefănică hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristinel Rada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorel Poenaru. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Bucuresti's Nae Muscaș got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Mugurel Grădinaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorel Poenaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cristinel Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristinel Rada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Poenaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sorin Pătrășconiu's late challenge caught a SCORPIONII's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sorin Pătrășconiu helped the player get up and apologised. Sorin Pătrășconiu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Steaua Bucuresti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
