Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ferdinand Dorian took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gică Băncilă hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cătălin Stejaru, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 8th minute of the match Panait Albu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Ştiubei skillfully saved the ball. If Ferdinand Dorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moise Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Abrudan in the 18th minute of play. Gică Băncilă charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gică Băncilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA got a freekick which was hit by Gică Băncilă. Cătălin Stejaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aron Ştiubei. UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moise Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Răduț in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Gherdan to maneuver through the defense. If Tudor Ichimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Penescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Aron Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Ştiubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Ichimescu in the 45th minute of the match. If Costin Penescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moise Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Dorian in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinand Dorian in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Pârcălab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tudor Ichimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aron Ştiubei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tudor Ichimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Ichimescu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Ştiubei. Aron Ştiubei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 71st minute, UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's Ferdinand Dorian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Moise Pârcălab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavius Abrudan in the 74th minute. Moise Pârcălab came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's Flavius Abrudan. But to his dismay, Flavius Abrudan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Flavius Abrudan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferdinand Dorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Pârcălab having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Ichimescu in the 88th minute of play forced UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Aron Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA were furious when Iustin Tomoiu was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 91 minutes into the game, one of UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave gura rosie a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cătălin Stejaru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's Aron Ştiubei. 3-3. Robert Gherdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Pârcălab having to interfere. The UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented gura rosie from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
