Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Motaenii's Leonard Petrean started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ferdinand Barbosu came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Motaenii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Barbosu couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Leonard Petrean reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narcis Ichimescu. The goal made the score 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Motaenii's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Păunescu came free, but Rafael Márquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Păunescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Márquez having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Iordache Păunescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motaenii's Rafael Márquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Iordache Păunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 20 in the game by Ferdinand Barbosu from a close distance when the talented Narcis Ichimescu managed to make a qualified save. Bisericani's players were relieved. Dorel Ghiorman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Márquez having to interfere. Iordache Păunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rafael Márquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Bisericani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Encea to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Márquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Ghiorman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Motaenii's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Păunescu came free, but Rafael Márquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iordache Păunescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Márquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Păunescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Dorel Ghiorman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rafael Márquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Bisericani were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iordache Păunescu to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Motaenii's zone, Dorel Ghiorman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Márquez came out of the goal and Dorel Ghiorman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Leonard Petrean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narcis Ichimescu. Bisericani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Petrean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rafael Márquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iordache Păunescu's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Panait Râznicu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Motaenii got a freekick which was hit by Panait Râznicu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Ghiorman got free with Rafael Márquez in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dorel Ghiorman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bisericani's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Ghiorman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Márquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Márquez made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dorel Ghiorman sent off a good shot on target. Ferdinand Barbosu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iacob Drăghincescu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Denis Corcoveanu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bisericani's Narcis Ichimescu didn't even have to move. Ferdinand Barbosu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Iordache Rotariu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bisericani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motaenii the free kick. A collision led to Bisericani getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Iordache Rotariu hit a great ball. Narcis Ichimescu came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Motaenii's Ferdinand Barbosu. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Barbosu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Motaenii's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
