Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcu Nicopol made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Marcu Nicopol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petre Lesnea. Marcu Nicopol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciuta's goalie prevented a goal. When Sabin Cozaru came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Barsanesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabin Cozaru couldn't finish the play. Petre Lesnea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Dragota in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Marcu Nicopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciuta's Petre Lesnea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcu Nicopols short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Petre Lesnea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 22 played minutes Ciuta got a freekick which was hit by Călin Săraru. When Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciuta's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Costel Iorda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barsanesti the free kick. In the 30th minute, Costel Iorda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcu Nicopol had several of the Ciuta's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Petre Lesnea as he didn't even see the shot coming. Petre Lesnea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Nicopol's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Filip Dragota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petre Lesnea. The goal made the score 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Nicopol in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Lesnea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Iorda to make the kick off. Sabin Cozaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Marcu Nicopol put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Petre Lesnea. 56 minutes into the game, Barsanesti's Filip Dragota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Lesnea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Marcu Nicopol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Udup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Lesnea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Nicopol in the 65th minute of play forced Ciuta's goalkeeper Petre Lesnea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Marcu Nicopol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Lesnea was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciuta's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ciuta's Costel Iorda got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the Ciuta defense, Filip Dragota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Lesnea. The Ciuta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Lesnea should have stopped the shot. When Barsanesti's Marcu Nicopol in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciuta's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Marcu Nicopol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Lesnea was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ciuta's Petre Lesnea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Almajan in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ciuta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Nicopol came free, but Petre Lesnea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Cozaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Lesnea having to interfere. Barsanesti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
