Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Alin Honciu made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Petrică Andronescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shadowfire the free kick. After a rather tough play, Shadowfire's Victor Cosor got a free kick in the 4th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Shadowfire's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Rogoz came free, but Virgil Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Mihoc struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Virgil Ionaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacova. After 14th play minutes Dan Rogoz shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Virgil Ionaș and just under the crossbar into goal. Dan Rogoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cacova's Flavius Mihoc in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shadowfire's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Shadowfire's Liviu Cernea got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Mihoc in the 23rd minute of play forced Shadowfire's goalkeeper Virgil Ionaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Cacova's Flavius Mihoc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Ionaș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dan Rogoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Virgil Ionaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Cacova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Mihoc to maneuver through the defense. Dan Rogoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Shadowfire's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Mihoc came free, but Virgil Ionaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute Cacova were awarded a corner. Petrică Andronescu went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cacova's corner Petrică Andronescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Virgil Ionaș quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Rogoz to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Cacova's Flavius Mihoc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgil Ionaș. That made the score 0-5 after 53 minutes of play. Liviu Cernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Bîlbă having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Gogu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cacova booed when Shadowfire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Gogu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandu Bîlbă came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Shadowfire's Alin Honciu. But to his dismay, Alin Honciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When Petrică Andronescu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. 69 minutes into the game, one of Cacova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Cacova getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Albert Săvoiu hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, Shadowfire's Vlad Aelenei shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandu Bîlbă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shadowfire reached it. Flavius Mihoc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Virgil Ionaș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Liviu Cernea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Bîlbă having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Flavius Mihoc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Virgil Ionaș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vlad Aelenei hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sandu Bîlbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Honciu in the 99th minute of the match. Cacova played a much better game than Shadowfire and deserved their victory. The Shadowfire players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
