Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Găvan made the kick off and thus started the match. If Mugurel Pelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Neteni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Negrescu came free, but Cornel Schipor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Constantin Negrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FCSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Negrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mugurel Pelin might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornel Schipor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mugurel Pelin ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicu Ticulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mugurel Pelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Schipor having to interfere. Panait Cinteză could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Mugurel Ogășanu made a huge save. Ionel Babeș hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, FC FCSB's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Găvan came free, but Mugurel Ogășanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Ovidiu Găvan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FCSB's Mugurel Ogășanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Neteni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Pelin came free, but Cornel Schipor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Găvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Panait Cinteză managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neteni FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Panait Cinteză was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugurel Ogășanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidiu Găvan struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mugurel Ogășanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neteni FC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mugurel Pelin to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Neteni FC's Cornel Schipor got control of the ball when Constantin Negrescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Schipor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Pelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidiu Găvan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugurel Ogășanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC FCSB's Mugurel Ogășanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Cinteză in the 73rd minute of play. Panait Cinteză's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Ogășanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ovidiu Găvan struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mugurel Ogășanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neteni FC. After 83 minutes, Ionel Babeș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC FCSB and the Neteni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugurel Ogășanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Găvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, FC FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Babeș to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantin Negrescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornel Schipor. That made the score 0-1 in the 90 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC FCSB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
