Parauseni SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Goșa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Stoleru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Astafei's late challenge caught a FANSTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Astafei helped the player get up and apologised. Leontin Mircescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Mustea, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Petre Baltian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Baltian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petre Baltian struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Leontin Mircescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FANSTE. FANSTE's Corneliu Mantoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Petre Baltian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leontin Mircescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nae Mustea's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nae Mustea to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Baltian got free with Leontin Mircescu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petre Baltian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leontin Mircescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 58th minute Nae Mustea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Mircescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Bogdan Barbăneagră mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parauseni SC and the FANSTE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FANSTE booed when Parauseni SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Barbăneagră didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Baltian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Leontin Mircescu made a huge save. Petre Baltian in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leontin Mircescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Parauseni SC's Leontin Mircescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Mustea in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Mustea in the 71st minute of play forced Parauseni SC's goalkeeper Leontin Mircescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Parauseni SC's goalkeeper Leontin Mircescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Baltian. FANSTE were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Parauseni SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dinu Luncanu took the corner. After 76 minutes Parauseni SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dinu Luncanu who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Petre Baltian could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Leontin Mircescu however easily saved by the left post.
