Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cosmin Rednic made the kick off and thus started the match. Costel Arseanu came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponoreni SC's Martin Corbea. But to his dismay, Martin Corbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, FC Malina's goalkeeper Costel Arseanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Isopescu. A hard shot 17 in the game by Mihai Isopescu from a close distance when the talented Costel Arseanu managed to make a qualified save. FC Malina's players were relieved. In the 20th minute Horaţiu Brezoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Adomniței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Corbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Costel Arseanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihai Isopescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ponoreni SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Zbârciog to maneuver through the defense. Costel Arseanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Şoimu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Nicodim Dumitrache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Malina and the Ponoreni SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes FC Malina got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Dumitrache. Costel Arseanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Corbea went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Martin Corbea came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ponoreni SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Corbea couldn't finish the play. Cătălin Vlădean kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mihai Isopescu succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Isopescu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costel Arseanu saved FC Malina from getting behind. After 80 played minutes FC Malina got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Vlădean. After a rather tough play, FC Malina's Cosmin Rednic got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Mihai Isopescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Corbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Costel Arseanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Mihai Isopescu made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Malina's Costel Arseanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costel Arseanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Zbârciog in the 91st minute of the match. Dacian Stănciulaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Malina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
