Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduard Calini started the match with the kick off. If Eduard Calini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Calini struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Victor Homescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Calini in the 14th minute of play forced Urziceni CS's goalkeeper Victor Homescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Urziceni CS's Paul Bușcu got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Eduard Calini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Bușcu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduard Calini in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Homescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Eduard Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Calini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Zelau booed when Urziceni CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Bușcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urziceni CS's Victor Homescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Urziceni CS from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Eduard Calini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Zelau's Eduard Calini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Homescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urziceni CS's Victor Homescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Calini in the 40th minute of play. Eduard Calini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Homescu having to interfere. Victor Homescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Şumălan in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Eduard Şumălan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 52 played minutes Urziceni CS got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Fulga. The supporters of Zelau booed when Urziceni CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Halipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasile Halipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Homescu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandu Postolache during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Urziceni CS booed when Zelau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eduard Calini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Urziceni CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Şuţu to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Gică Frântu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Urziceni CS's Victor Homescu didn't even have to move. After 75 minutes of play, Zelau's Eduard Şumălan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Homescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urziceni CS's Victor Homescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Calini in the 80th minute of play. Eduard Şumălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Victor Homescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Homescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Zelau's Eduard Calini. But to his dismay, Eduard Calini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vasile Halipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sterescu having to interfere.
