When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Chițu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rareș Magheru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babarunca's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Magheru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Ţintea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Rareș Magheru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Zăreanu came free, but Robert Ţintea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Ţintea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Magheru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Iordache Zăreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Ţintea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babarunca's Romeo Aluculesei suffered a concussion in the 84th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Marcel Chițu's late challenge caught a Babarunca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Chițu helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Chițu. Rareș Magheru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Robert Ţintea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Iordache Zăreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Ţintea.
