Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olimpiu Brezeanu kicked off to start the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Visarion couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Visarion in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigel Plopeanu saved Pihna from getting behind. If Emilian Visarion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rdth minute of the game Emilian Visarion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pihna's Gigel Plopeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Nechifor Şumălan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juguri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Şumălan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilian Visarion to make the kick off. When Teodor Lovin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihna's protests and gave Teodor Lovin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Teodor Lovin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Pihna's Cristi Tudor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Irinel Cozaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mircea Podgoreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Plopeanu having to make a save. Gigel Plopeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Visarion in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Adam Sârbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juguri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Sârbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Emilian Visarion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 70 in the game by Emilian Visarion from a close distance when the talented Gigel Plopeanu managed to make a qualified save. Pihna's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Visarion in the 74th minute of play forced Pihna's goalkeeper Gigel Plopeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Plopeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Bădulescu in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, David Ghețea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
