Horaţiu Lunca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nechifor Baldovinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures's Horaţiu Lunca got a free kick in the 11th minute. Dragoş Manolache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Stejaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Tudor Turcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragoş Manolache. A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Turcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures defense, Tudor Turcan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragoş Manolache. The A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragoş Manolache should have stopped the shot. Tudor Turcan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Horaţiu Lunca might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Baldovinescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horaţiu Lunca ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures's zone, Paul Stejaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Manolache came out of the goal and Paul Stejaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilian Călin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baldovinescu having to interfere. After some careless play in the A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures defense, Paul Stejaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragoş Manolache. In the 43rdth minute of the game Paul Stejaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures's Dragoş Manolache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Fitod's Tudor Turcan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dragoş Manolache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Paul Stejaru made the kick off in the second half. Dragoş Manolache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Turcan in the 54th minute of play. A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures's Dragoş Manolache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Stejaru in the 56th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Miu to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Călin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nechifor Baldovinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Fitod got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Miclovan. Tudor Turcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Manolache having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tudor Turcan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragoş Manolache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Stejaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dragoş Manolache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tudor Turcan in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Manolache saved A.S.A. 2010 Targu-Mures from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fitod had won after a very even match.
