The Unity BvB 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Miclovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Mereuță made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Sever Buznea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lotasi AC's Claudiu Agrigoroaiei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Unity BvB 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Buznea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
