Ion Pârvuță was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radu Hurmuzescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Sorin Pârlog reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ion Pârvuță. The goal made the score 2-0. Ion Pârvuță made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Radu Hurmuzescu sent off a good shot on target. Ion Pârvuță didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FCSB's Sorin Pârlog slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ion Pârvuță. That made the score 4-0 after 15 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Sporting defense, Sorin Pârlog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ion Pârvuță. The Sporting fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ion Pârvuță should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, FCSB's Sorin Pârlog ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ion Pârvuță. Ion Pârvuță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Ion Pârvuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Pârlog in the 30th minute of the match. Ion Pârvuță made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Sorin Pârlog sent off a good shot on target. Ion Pârvuță made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ionică Romulus sent off a good shot on target. Ion Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Hurmuzescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 51 minutes into the game, Sorin Pârlog cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ion Pârvuță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ion Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Pârlog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costin Calciu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ion Pârvuță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sorin Pârlog took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ion Pârvuță. Ion Pârvuță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After 83 minutes of play, FCSB's Sorin Pârlog made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ion Pârvuță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ion Pârvuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Pârlog in the 86th minute of play. Ion Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Pârlog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Romulus came free, but Ion Pârvuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ion Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Pârlog, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that FCSB were the better team. FCSB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
