Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Stelian Ruşdea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iustin Huțupan hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Militaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Costică Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eric Zub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cernatesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Zub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Neaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihail Coman's late challenge caught a Cernatesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Coman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sport Club getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Narcis Enoiu hit a great ball. Cernatesti's Iustin Huțupan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Costică Neaga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Stelian Ruşdea, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Costică Neaga was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Sport Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stelian Ruşdea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Petruț Racoviceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petruț Racoviceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Petruț Racoviceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sport Club getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mihail Coman hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Cernatesti got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Militaru. Stelian Ruşdea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Covrig in the 39th minute of play forced Cernatesti's goalkeeper Traian Drăgănoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mihail Coman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute Mihail Coman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Drăgănoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Covrig to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Tiberiu Militaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cernatesti's Tiberiu Militaru got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Cernatesti got a freekick which was hit by Alex Crivoi. Mihail Coman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Traian Drăgănoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Liviu Covrig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Traian Drăgănoiu. Liviu Covrig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Sport Club's Mihail Coman got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Mihail Coman off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sport Club's Mihail Coman got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Eric Zub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Liviu Covrig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Traian Drăgănoiu. Liviu Covrig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Costică Neaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Zub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cernatesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club.
