After 77 minutes of play FC Sebastian's Emil Jucu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 80th match minute, FC Rogoz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Pelin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Logofeteanu in the 84th minute of play forced FC Rogoz's goalkeeper Basarab Roșeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sorin Ghioane managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rogoz's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Ghioane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Pașcalău breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucrețiu Petran struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ferdinand Pașcalău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rogoz. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
