After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Lăschia's zone, Mihail Vătafu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Mateescu came out of the goal and Mihail Vătafu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, FC Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Macovei came free, but Ferdinand Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mugur Macovei came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Steaua Lăschia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Macovei couldn't finish the play. If Nichifor Golumbean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Mihail Vătafu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Steaua Lăschia's Avram Mateescu. Avram Mateescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Sebastian's Ferdinand Pașcalău got control of the ball when Eugen Drăgoescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Burtea hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Steaua Lăschia fully deserved thier win.
