Agronomul-BTF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Bucuță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agronomul-BTF's Victor Mîțu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 34th minute, Agronomul-BTF's Victor Mîțu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Agronomul-BTF's Victor Mîțu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florin Borogeanu. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Mîțu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Dinamo 1948's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Mîțu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Cristi Zafiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodor Vulcan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Agronomul-BTF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
