Eugen Drăgoescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Anina Banat's goalkeeper Gavril Blajovici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avram Mateescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Hogaș in the 19th minute of the match. Ştefan Griguță kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, F.C. Anina Banat's Isac Hogaș sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Mateescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. F.C. Anina Banat's Dinu Agudin got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Drăgoescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gavril Blajovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Horea Almăgean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Anina Banat and the Steaua Lăschia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes F.C. Anina Banat got a freekick which was hit by Horea Almăgean. Mugur Macovei struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gavril Blajovici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Lăschia. In the 39th minute of the match F.C. Anina Banat got a corner. Steaua Lăschia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albert Scutaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teodor Petrescu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Avram Mateescu, a very annoying self made goal in the 39th minute which led to 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Macovei in the 43rd minute of play forced F.C. Anina Banat's goalkeeper Gavril Blajovici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Blajovici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Macovei in the 47th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Boieru's late challenge caught a F.C. Anina Banat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucrețiu Boieru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 49th minute, Lucrețiu Boieru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Horea Almăgean was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. In the 60th match minute, F.C. Anina Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Almăgean to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Macovei struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gavril Blajovici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Lăschia. Steaua Lăschia's Eugen Drăgoescu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinu Agudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steaua Lăschia's Avram Mateescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Hogaș in the 79th minute of play. F.C. Anina Banat's Dinu Agudin got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugen Drăgoescu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gavril Blajovici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua Lăschia. After some careless play in the F.C. Anina Banat defense, Mugur Macovei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Blajovici. The F.C. Anina Banat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Blajovici should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C. Anina Banat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Steaua Lăschia.
