When Cornel Gârneț fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romanian Patriots's protests and gave Cornel Gârneț a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bibanul FC booed when Romanian Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Gârneț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bibanul FC's Bogdan Turcescu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilian Negură sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Bibanul FC's Constantin Lipan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Bibanul FC from getting a goal against them. If Petre Goanță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
