Sebastian Crăiță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodor Focșa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Sebastian Crăiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Focșa having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, FC Velos's goalkeeper Teodor Focșa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Crăiță. Nicodim Gârniceanu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Teodor Focșa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tg. Mureș. In the 17th match minute, FC Tg. Mureș was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Gârniceanu to maneuver through the defense. Pavel Lupea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Sebastian Crăiță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tg. Mureș's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Crăiță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Tg. Mureș getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nicodim Gârniceanu hit a great ball. If Aristide Drâmba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Crăiță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Teodor Focșa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Robert Frățilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Velos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tg. Mureș the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petruț Malcoci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute of the match FC Velos got a corner. FC Tg. Mureș's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelian Firea ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th match minute, FC Velos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Drâmba to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Leonardo Burian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Focșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Focșa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Burian went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Leonardo Burian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Tg. Mureș's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
