Nitesti UFC's attentive Adam Druță managed to snatch the ball when Alaa Ciobica made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Anton Brășneanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aurelian Ghioane to make any attempt to save it. In the 27thth minute of the game Sebastian Crăiță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nitesti UFC's Calistrat Sterescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Tg. Mureș's Aurelian Ghioane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC Tg. Mureș from getting a goal against them. Calistrat Sterescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Burian in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Nitesti UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Druță to maneuver through the defense. Nitesti UFC:s Calistrat Sterescu showed great skill when he stopped Stelian Daimacă:s penalty. 60 minutes into the game, Alaa Ciobica threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nitesti UFC's Adam Druță quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to FC Tg. Mureș getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nicodim Gârniceanu hit a great ball. FC Tg. Mureș's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vali Ceaușu in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Sebastian Crăiță got a very nice opportunity to score, but Calistrat Sterescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Nitesti UFC's Calistrat Sterescu got control of the ball when Alaa Ciobica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mureș was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Lepuș to maneuver through the defense. Octav Unciuleanu, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nitesti UFC's zone, Sebastian Crăiță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Sterescu came out of the goal and Sebastian Crăiță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Sebastian Crăiță got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute Pavel Lupea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Sterescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Tg. Mureș getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Corneliu Boltașu hit a great ball. Aurelian Ghioane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Nae, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Tg. Mureș eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
