Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alin Zeciu got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of FC Velos booed when Romanian Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Buhăescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodor Focșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Zeciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodor Focșa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Zeciu in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Velos's Aristide Drâmba got a free kick in the 9th minute. Romanian Patriots's Alin Zeciu got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Frățilă was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. FC Velos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Velos's Petruț Malcoci got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Petruț Malcoci dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petru Musceleanu, 1-0. Petruț Malcoci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Petru Musceleanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Petruț Malcoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Musceleanu having to interfere. If Aristide Drâmba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Balaeț in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Velos's Robert Frățilă. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Zeciu during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 41 minutes, Petruț Malcoci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Velos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petruț Malcoci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristide Drâmba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Musceleanu having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Aristide Drâmba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Petru Musceleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aristide Drâmba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Romanian Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Gârneț. Teodor Focșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Zeciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, FC Velos's Petruț Malcoci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petru Musceleanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aristide Drâmba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petru Musceleanu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Firea during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Velos getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aurelian Firea hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Alin Zeciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Focșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petru Musceleanu came out of the goal and Robert Frățilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC Velos's Petruț Malcoci in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romanian Patriots's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for FC Velos. Aristide Drâmba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petru Musceleanu. 3-0. Emilian Negură received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Teodor Focșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Velos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
