Ciprian Mardare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Minea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Valentin Minea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciprian Mardare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Minea was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oțelul Galați's zone, Vasile Nistor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Mardare came out of the goal and Vasile Nistor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Valentin Minea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Valentin Minea came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the MyhTeam Lyons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Minea couldn't finish the play. Vasile Nistor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Minea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Mardare having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Vasile Nistor managed to get in a good position for a shot. MyhTeam Lyons's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Nistor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Mardare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Oțelul Galați's goalkeeper Ciprian Mardare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasile Nistor. Valentin Minea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 87 minutes, Nechifor Petrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oțelul Galați and the MyhTeam Lyons players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nechifor Petrea kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Panait Istrătescu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. MyhTeam Lyons played a much better game than Oțelul Galați and deserved their victory. The Oțelul Galați players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
