Eliodor Buceceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Ştati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustin Istrate went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Iustin Istrate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragoş Ştati. Catelesti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Istrate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Eliodor Buceceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dragoş Ştati was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th minute, Iustin Istrate made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Ştati. Catelesti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Iustin Istrate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dragoş Ştati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giuvaresti CF's Eliodor Buceceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoş Ştati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustin Istrate went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Iustin Istrate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Eliodor Buceceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Istrate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustin Istrate struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Giuvaresti CF booed when Catelesti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Gliga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliodor Buceceanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes Catelesti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Beligan. Eliodor Buceceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Ştati having to interfere. Eliodor Buceceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dragoş Ştati came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliodor Buceceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eliodor Buceceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giuvaresti CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliodor Buceceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoş Ştati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Iustin Istrate made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Ştati. Catelesti CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Eliodor Buceceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dragoş Ştati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Catelesti CSS's Gelu Bucurescu made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nechifor Urmaticu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
