Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Iacob Vâlcu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodea AS's protests and gave Iacob Vâlcu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bodea AS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Iacob Vâlcu hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Constantin Tobă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bodea AS's Dacian Gurzău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Iacob Vâlcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Constantin Tobă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Arsene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Arsene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dacian Gurzău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bodea AS's Dacian Gurzău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Arsene in the 29th minute of play. Constantin Tobă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Gurzău having to interfere. Felix Arsene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dacian Gurzău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Gurzău was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Arsene to make the kick off. Aristide Cioroianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Tache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Gurzău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Tobă in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viorel Dijmărescu during the 61st minute.
