Fabian Andronache's late challenge caught a Atletico Textila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Andronache helped the player get up and apologised. Atletico Textila's Pompiliu Baldovinescu was substituted for Cosmin Bărboianu. After a rather tough play, FCDB's Fabian Andronache got a free kick in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Dichiseanu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Nicea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vali Dichiseanu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelian Nicea. Silviu Gliga charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Gliga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Atletico Textila got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Gliga. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Gavril Botescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gavril Botescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Cioculescu in the 25th minute of the match. Tiberiu Nedelcea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aurelian Nicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Gliga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Nicea having to interfere. Costel Bobocea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Cioculescu made a kick off. Mircea Huidu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to FCDB getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vlad Tănase hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Huidu in the 55th minute of play forced Atletico Textila's goalkeeper Gavril Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Silviu Gliga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the match was over Atletico Textila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FCDB throughout the match.
