Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marius Săvescu made the kick off and thus started the match. Varbilau's Toader Hojbota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Varbilau from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Săvescu in the 4th minute of play forced Varbilau's goalkeeper Toader Hojbota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Varbilau's Toader Hojbota got control of the ball when Aurelian Podgoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Toader Hojbota successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7thth minute of the game Călin Lucrețiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BBI&REA's Isac Săliştean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Almăgean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Hojbota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Aron Daria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Săliştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The BBI&REA fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when BBI&REA's Aurelian Podgoreanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Marius Săvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rdth minute of the game Marius Săvescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varbilau's Toader Hojbota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BBI&REA's attentive Basarab Ionete managed to snatch the ball when Marian Negrițoiu made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Marius Săvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Basarab Ionete took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Toader Hojbota to make any attempt to save it. Marius Săvescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Toader Hojbota made a huge save. Petruț Pricop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Toader Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Lera kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, BBI&REA's Aurelian Podgoreanu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toader Hojbota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toader Hojbota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Săvescu's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Marius Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Hojbota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelian Podgoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Toader Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Călin Lucrețiu to make the kick off. Aurelian Podgoreanu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toader Hojbota. Toader Hojbota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 61 minutes into the game, Aurelian Podgoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Toader Hojbota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Săvescu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toader Hojbota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Almăgean scored 7-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toader Hojbota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toader Hojbota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Săvescu's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Basarab Ionete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Varbilau's zone, Petruț Pricop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Hojbota came out of the goal and Petruț Pricop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelian Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Hojbota having to interfere. Toader Hojbota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Pricop, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Aurelian Podgoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Toader Hojbota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Marius Săvescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Hojbota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BBI&REA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
