He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mugur Burdea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Tătaru in the 23rd minute of play forced Viltotesti AFC's goalkeeper Eliodor Mărăscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Frânculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cornel Feteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdinand Tătaru to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Horia Ciompec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Marcu Frânculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Burdea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Dragheasa's Ferdinand Tătaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Mugur Burdea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Frânculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Viltotesti AFC's goalkeeper Eliodor Mărăscu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Dragomiroiu. After a rather tough play, Viltotesti AFC's Șerban Panaitoiu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Marcu Frânculescu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Viltotesti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcu Frânculescu couldn't finish the play. Valeriu Dragomiroiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Marcu Frânculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viltotesti AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Frânculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes of play, Viltotesti AFC's Marcu Frânculescu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mugur Burdea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mugur Burdea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Frânculescu in the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Viltotesti AFC had played much better football throughout.
