The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Lucrețiu Moisil could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Ionel Maghear however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diderik Rooy in the 12th minute of play forced UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goalkeeper Ionel Maghear had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucrețiu Moisil. 17 minutes into the match, UFC Piluganii's goal looked a bit too open when Diderik Rooy came free, but Ionel Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Moisil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ionel Maghear made a huge save. Lucrețiu Moisil took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Maghear. Ionel Maghear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With an all-out effort, AC Vulcano's Ionel Maghear threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Octavian Olbrechts, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucrețiu Meleșcanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucrețiu Meleșcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ionel Maghear was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavian Olbrechts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 44th minute, AC Vulcano's Octavian Olbrechts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. But to his dismay, Diderik Rooy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lucrețiu Meleșcanu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, AC Vulcano's Diderik Rooy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Maghear made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Ionel Maghear showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Moisil in the 88th minute of the match.
